We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a three-day Generative AI Course for lecturers from Institut Kemahiran MARA Seberang Perai Utara (IKM SPU). The training was held at the Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) in Penang and conducted by the esteemed Prof. Abd Karim Alias, from 11 – 13th November 2024.
The course provided participants with a hands-on exploration of cutting-edge Generative AI tools, including:
- Notion for workflow automation and project management.
- Whimsical for visual collaboration and idea mapping.
- Lumen for creating captivating educational content.
- Veed.io for effortless video editing.
- Gemini for text-to-image generation.
- Perplexity AI for research and knowledge gathering.
These tools, along with others introduced during the course, are designed to empower educators to create engaging, innovative, and efficient teaching materials.
The training sessions were met with enthusiasm, as participants dived into practical applications of AI tools that can enhance productivity and elevate the learning experience in their respective institutions. We hope this course will serve as a valuable foundation for lecturers to further innovate in their teaching methods and resource development.
